APPLE

Ranking third in America’s Most Innovative Companies, with a market value of over $3.8 trillion, Apple is a household name and industry stalwart in the world of technology.

The international company is headquartered in Cupertino, California, with approximately 166,000 employees and record-breaking 2025 revenue of $416 billion, cementing its spot at the top of the world’s most recognizable and admired companies under the tutelage of CEO Timothy D. Cook.

It is best known for designing, manufacturing, and selling smartphones, personal computers, tablets, wearables, and accessories, such as the iPhone, Mac, iPad, AirPods, and Apple Watch.

The company also offers services, including Apple Music, Apple News+, Apple TV+, and Apple Pay, alongside distributing third-party applications through its App Store.


MICROSOFT

Regularly ranked as one of the world’s most valuable companies by market capitalization, Microsoft is famous for creating the globally popular Windows PC operating system and the Microsoft 365 suite of business productivity software.
